Andrea Young has served at Oxford Baptist Church as the Music Ministry Assistant since April 2010. She and her family have been attending Oxford Baptist Church since October of 2006.
Andrea made a profession of faith at the age of 11 and much later accepted Jesus as her savior at the age of 39. Her desire for a closer walk with the Lord is what motivates her in her daily life. She has been happily married to her husband, Billy for 23 years. She is very proud of their children, Tricia, son-in law Bobby and Taylor as well as their granddaughters, Kayleigh and Sarah Rae. She is looking forward to watching the way God moves and works in all of their lives.
Andrea has been active in the Jubilee Choir and as an Awana leader since she started attending Oxford Baptist Church. Andrea believes that being active in the 5th and 6th grade girls T-n-T Awana program is a way that she can give back to the young girls of the church.
Andrea enjoys reading, jigsaw and crossword puzzles but most of all she enjoys the time she gets to spend with her family, both near and far.
