Jeff Swagger has served Oxford Baptist Church as the Music Ministry Director since 2009. He and his family have been members of OBC since 2003. As the son of a Baptist preacher, Jeff grew up in several areas of the southeast. However, he considers this area of North Carolina “home.”
Jeff accepted Christ as his Savior at the age 4. He began to love gospel music in the late 80′s while buying cassette tapes of Southern Gospel quartets; of course, tapes are long gone since they will not fit inside an iPhone!
Jeff believes that the music of our church services should provide us an opportunity to worship Christ–for who He is, what He has done, and what He is doing in our lives.
